been a while but I've been doing inventory management today which along with the usual "identify and salvage a dozen stacks of unidentified gear" included opening a bunch of gear boxes i've been sitting on

anyway so this new torch i grabbed from one of them looks great on Caoimha, really fits the Guardian Blue vibe

thanks! i think so too

the shield is actually the Aegis effect, which is a special kind of buff that blocks the next incoming attack but has no expiration time. Guardians have a lot of stuff that grants Aegis, so she winds up having the shield effect a lot. in fact, one of the most popular guard "complaints" is aegis ruining your fashion choices xD I like to theme my outfits to class powers anyway so it works for me to coordinate

as for the torch itself, I've set a sort of meta-goal for myself to collect all of the torch skins that don't have just a normal "flame" effect (well, barring the gem store ones, they don't count). i've got a bunch of them now, although my current favorites (I'll screenshot the others later) are this one, the mesmer-y colored one i gave to Hemlock, and the Scourge torch that Altheia has - which, considering I was making a necro specifically to play scourge, I was very excited when it turned out to be green and copper, because that fits her color scheme really well.

...also, I just realized those characters with thematic torches are all three of my sylvari and none of the others.

It definitely looks like it enhances the outfit rather than clashing!
