This one story has long stuck with me, but on only two specific points: "it's one where Holmes messed up", and "it's got racism stuff". The specifics of the case aside from the ultimate conclusion pretty much all vanished into the aether, so it was almost like reading it fresh.
And having read it, I sat there and thought for a bit and was like, well.... what I remembered just about summed it up, lol. There's not a whole lot to it, other than Holmes being completely wrong and it being about racism.

Yeah it's not great. There isn't even a mystery, really, it's just a lady terrified of her second husband being racist and doing stupid things.
I'm discovering that most of the stories I forgot most of really deserved to be forgotten
