We binged through The Newlywed Diary of a Witch and a Dragon and it's adorable actually????

Premise: Extremely talented genius witch has drunken one-night stand, feels guilty and gets herself trapped into an engagement via a poorly worded promise. Romance shenanigans and mountains of personal growth ensue!

I'm really enjoying that despite the premise it doesn't romanticize coercion and everyone is surprisingly adorable (except Cain, altho who knows, maybe I'll like him more if he shows up more besides a flashback and being a sore loser)

edit: Forgot to mention there's also wizard and dragon politics, altho it's only juuuuuust getting into the dragon politics.

Okay so I saw a thing for a webtoon Blood Stain and I was like, it looks like horror, it sounds like horror, but the genre is slice of life and I was like I gotta see what the heck this thing is???

and it turns out

it's a weirdly wholesome and funny story about preconceptions and struggling with ADHD and anxiety?? and yeah it's absolutely 100% slice of life

I uhhh accidentally stayed up until 2am last night reading Your Wings and Mine

It's..... sort of an angel/demon romance? Mostly. There's other stuff. It's super cute and goofy and over the top but then like you start getting into the angel's backstory and holy shit it's dark. I mean in a good way, well, good in terms of the narrative development, not good for the characters, it's pretty fuckin awful for the characters, but ANYWAY I'M ENJOYING IT A LOT.

it's actually like way better written than i expected when i started reading it, like, even the weird vomit gag the comic starts off with for comedic effect turns out to have a reason for existing that's not just "lol he's bad at his job" which ngl it immediately shifted my whole perspective on the story the moment i realized it

It's currently on a extended hiatus so I dunno if it'll ever get finished but Deor is pretty great and has a very "inspired by Pandora Hearts" vibe

I just binged all of Brimstone and Roses, a webcomic about a bisexual woman with anxiety so desperate to appear that she's gotten over her ex that she summons a demon to be her plus one at a wedding. The demon is demisexual and loves cats but has put a sneaky clause in her contract that means he gets to stay on Earth as long as he keeps ruining her love life ...

It's cute and very sweet and the art is brilliant. It also has a fat protagonist potrayed really respectfully!! It does go dark places at times but usually content warns. I completely adored it. It is unfortunately on hiatus right now but there are 91 updates and it's all brilliant so far. :)
