If you've ever been over on Sufficient Velocity in their Quests subforum, you know what this is about.
If you haven't, here's the gist of the idea:
Someone (in this case, me) starts up a story premise and then pauses it at every major decision point for a reader vote. This lets the readers decide what direction the story takes, or at least have input on it. (Often there's a character-creation bit at the beginning so readers can have input for that part, too, but not always.) I'm thinking it might be fun to do something like that, with a regular weekly update.
Sufficient Velocity has a lot of special tools in their forum code for making this as technically easy for everyone as possible, which obviously we don't have, but I think there are few enough people that it would be easy to keep track of all the votes manually so that isn't a big problem.
The question is: would anyone be interested in participating? I don't really want to go through the trouble of coming up with something and starting it if no one winds up voting.

it is surprisingly difficult to find good low-res image motifs to put in one's signature these days

That could be fun but yeah, it needs people to join in

Almost definitely interested, pending hearing the premise.

Still chewing on it, but probably something in the revamped Overdraft setting. So, fantasy cyberpunk with vampires, probably following a small team of underground specialists a la shadowrunners.

Yes, I will chime in to help them be the best runners of shadows they can be.

I'd be curious to see this. As usual with anything rp-ish, I may have to watch myself for time use, but still curious.

It's not really RP at all, it's sort of like a cross between a web serial and a crowdsourced CYOA. Which is to say, I don't think it'd have much risk of being a time suck, since participation would be limited by how often I post new updates, and that would be a maximum of once per week. (Once per week is also my goal but I fully expect to slip on that. >.> )

YES PLEASE
... Ooh I have like three bouncing around in my head that would be easier with a smaller/more friendly group than SV too.

You probably want to start with just one, but go for it. We have a dice roller here too if you need it, although I don't think you're so much the dice-roll type for these things.
