IMO, the last NPC post feels like the character is about to say something else important, and doesn't really offer much lead-up for a PC to glom onto to come up with reply or do something in response.

Apologies. I'm in a stressful period and the tiredness makes me do stuff slower (because I get distracted so much easier) and more forgetful. I've been thinking of replying multiple times the last week, but never in a good moment to sit down and write anything.

I think going forward, I'll practice doing small one-line posts from my phone, if it feels hard to find the time to sit down with a computer

I'd have struggled to keep up over the holiday season, so it's worked out great for me.
