Welp, due to mention of anime sound tracks, I'm currently listening to The World from .hack//sign

Hmm. I wonder how well the original .hack stands up to a rewatch.

Oh heavens the .hack soundtrack is amazing. I tried rewatching .hack recently but didn't get far, the characters felt really flat? Also apparently the mystery is better when it's premiering on TV at weird times of night so you miss random episodes and scenes XD. Ymmv though. The visuals are still gorgeous.

Did you know that the DVDs offer a, 'Just The Soundtrack,' audio channel? Which when .Hack was on Toonami was the Second Audio option.

And on the subject of anime soundtracks: Did you know that Christopher Franke did the soundtrack for the first Tenchi movie? I remember listening to it and thinking, "Wow, this part almost sounds like it could be from a Babylon 5 episode," then checking and realizing, "Oh. Right. Same composer."

Been kinda obsessive over the game Hades in the past week or so and this song in particular- Eurydice is singing it whenever you visit her home, which has a random chance of happening, and *every* time I go there I just sit and listen for a full cycle before going on cause it's *so pretty aaa*
