OH NO I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS
I also forgot about this! But I went the next night (spontaneously at the suggestion of a 10 year-old at 11.30 at night we were playing Fortnite with) and they were still really bright and clear.

Apparently they will still be visible until the 26th August? I assume the further from the peak you get, the less visible, but if you went soon on a clear night you might still see them!
Boo!

They're just as visible any time - they're meteors in the atmosphere after all - but the further from the peak you get, the less of them there are and the less likely you are to actually catch one

We were talking about robots and it got me wondering what the best drones you could get without needing to register as a pilot are, and in the process I discovered this. It's way below the price point I expected for a drone and it's designed specifically for learning drone flying and basic programming. It looks really cool.
