TIL that barnacles are crustaceans and therefore related to crabs and woodlice (which are also crustaceans! )
barnacle genitals
And also that barnaclas - at least some of them - have penises that are eight times the length of their body, in order to be able to reach the barnacle next to them

The other day I learned about dendronization (things independently evolving into trees), it was so cool.

You know, I'd wondered about the tree/shrub/woody herb/normal herb "gradient" before because once you really get into, like, growing plants in that category, you start to realize that none of it makes any sense and it's incredibly arbitrary which plants are what and which other plants they're related to and whether they'd be good for bonsai or not.
it is surprisingly difficult to find good low-res image motifs to put in one's signature these days

Today I learned that Fran's outfits in the Nanny were fire.

Hey Tarot, I think y'all might like some of her styling, albeit probably not with miniskirts lol. Lots of bright colors and vests, occasional leather.

I vaguely remember finding her fashion choices really interesting the one or two times I saw the show. (I had no idea what the premise or characters or anything was and I was SO confused lolll)
