I've seen people be mad about Howl/Sophie because of the age gap and like... I dunno what they've read/watched but there's nothing remotely upsetting about that particular relationship?

yeah I get where they're coming from with this one because it's got a mentor/student dynamic so like while I don't actually think it's actually gonna be anything bad the reactions are based just enough on real stuff and I'm in a rough enough mental spot that now I'm feeling like retroactively bad for stuff I read when I was like twelve and I'm like why did I do this to myself aaaaaaaa

@InspectorCaracal I'm happy to report that Yangil continues to be a non-issue. He's mildly annoying at times and will probably learn a lesson or two soon, but he's no real threat.

And the are a few scenes that more than make up for any anxiety!!
