y'know what, after this whole Downer Sequence I'm gonna do another "unranked list of my current fave webtoons" post, although I'm gonna leave out 30 min because B's gotten me all paranoid

and so, in No Particular Order:

• Time and Time Again - gay supernatural monster-of-the-week-style episodic adventures where everyone is adorable and nobody is in an abusive relationship, it gives me life, i am putting it at the top since it is TOPical
• The Top Dungeon Farmer - it's the farming isekai I've always wanted. that's it. that's all there is to say lmfao
• 66,666 Years: Advent of the Dark Mage - this one is still great!! just went on post-season-2 hiatus so you got tons of time to catch up. OP action-adventure with well-paced power progression and both hilarious troll-y and absolutely wholesome character interactions. plus the art is super pretty.
• Sable Curse - kinda dark but mostly from the premise/start - the overall narrative moves forward and up, not down. enjoying it as Something Different
• The Crown Princess Scandal - this one is just cute tbh classic romantic comedy fare, heroine and MC get along like water and sodium but gradually begin to ~have feelings~, nice mix of interpersonal relationships, and a dash of Royal Politics.
• Vampire Husband - continues to bring wholesome chaos energy to the world. carry on, Charles & Cheryl
• Midnight Furies - EYYYY IT'S BACK. you want a supernatural sports series? YOU GOT IT. THIS IS THE ONE. absolutely fuckin gorgeous, great story, everyone's queer af, even the main antagonist is a treasure he is so over the top narcissistic and the kind of guy you absolutely love to hate
• The Gentle way - still the best slice of life romance sports anime comic out there, updates resume for the new year, let's goooooooo
• The Blind Prince - beautiful classic fairy-tale adventure fantasy continues to be All Those Things, the MCs are great, everything is great
• I Abdicate My Title of Empress - definitely not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, especially since it's a daily pass series and the main antagonist is a horrible horrible trash fire excuse of a person, but I'm loving it. it's like it takes all those typical court drama romance webtoon major antagonistic character types and lampshades the usual "justifications" for it so fucking hard it brings me great joy. like the one character was like "i know the emperor is awful, but blah blah sad childhood blah blah" and the MC is like "yeah, okay, so what, it's not my fault OR my problem if he didn't grow the fuck up" and i literally did a victory cheer it was so good. ahem. anyway. yeah. also it's very pretty.
• Swordid - a fun and brightly-colored story about being a hero adventurer and questioning who is the bad guy really anyway. i have only the vaguest idea where the plot is going right now and i love it.

oh and For My Derelict Favorite isn't on here only because it's still on inter-season hiatus
