Re: OOC Chatter for Cal's KIN game
Posting next has been done! I hope switching pronouns in the middle of a post isn't too confusing to read - I promise there's a meaning behind it! Also, I took the opportunity to do a bit of outfit description, now that I've started a new day. (Woolooloo, I have time magic *wavy hand motions* blobch...

Re: Cal's KIN Forum Game
"See you tomorrow," Mina says before grabbing a final snack from the tray and leaving the room. The next morning, before anyone else arrives, Mina is sitting at the edge of the beautifully sculpted fountain mentioned in the directions. They're reading a tiny book - a new one from yesterday...

Re: OOC Chatter for Cal's KIN game
Oi, my latest post struck a bit of "inspiration", suddenly. Regarding the name on the business card, I - the player - would be satisfied with a "Kavirin is a last name and there's a first name and/or an initial" reply, and then if it ever comes up, work with the assumption that M...

Re: Cal's KIN Forum Game
He pulls a small case out of a pocket, takes out a small pen and a card, and scribbles something onto it. That done, he tosses it across the room so it lands on the small table, right next to the partly-emptied tray of snacks. Mina leans forward to read the business card. They want to know if there...

Re: Cal's KIN Forum Game
Mina ponders the information about the cat-napping and the ransom, and then asks, "how do you know there's a random demand, if she wont show you the note? Maybe the cat ran away, and she's just trying to get you to find it again and have made up a grand story about catnappers to avoid embarrasm...

Re: OOC Chatter for Cal's KIN game
I'm of two minds regarding what I should do; on one hand it's more or less "my turn" in the thread (it's been a week, and everyone else has posted at least once since me), but on the other hand, I don't feel a specific need to react to the things that have been said in the last few posts. ...

Re: Game jams!
For all my awesomeness, we (@Nuhn and I) decided that we wouldn't be submitting anything to the virtual pet jam, because it just wasn't anywhere near finished. Icons missing, no sounds, no fancy mechanics or minigames. Hardly a game, hardly finished, no submission.
It was fun making, though!

Re: Game jams!
Wohoo! I've managed to make it to a functional prototype of the game and it's somehow only 280 lines of javascript! That's pretty small for a game, imo. (Okay, there's no sound and no animation, but we're working with a very lax definitions of "game" here anyway :D ) no kidding?? 280 line...
